September 1-8, 2014

We've been using a "Ticket" reward system. 1 Ticket can be traded in for 5 minutes of screen time or $.10.  Here Britton is reading to Ty to earn some tickets.  Hey - it works! I love seeing them like this.

Brit has learned to pump himself on the swing. Ty likes making silly poses without prompting.

Playdate with the Quist boys.  There's the tire swing that Landon put up this summer. The boys and friends love it.

The garden's doing well! See the raspberries bending over? We'll stake them next year.  And the mammoth sunflower died early Fall because we transplanted it from the house.  It had an early life and death. The birds loved eating the seeds. Especially the Mourning Doves. Actually, the sunflowers seemed to keep the birds away from the raspberries, so we'll try that again.

"First Day of First Grade" in Homeschool including reading on the way to violin and then gymnastics class.

Ty's "First Day of Preschool" picture.  He goes to Bethany preschool with two other girls from church (Avery Orme and Sadie Allen).  The preschool has been great for him.
In fact, it looked like so much fun that Brit wanted to stay, too!

One of our first 'cold' days at 57* made Britton wipe out the face mask. Ha ha!

The boys go back time and time again to playing with "Straws and Connectors".  Then they want to document their creations on the camera.

Adding dirt to build up the garden beds.

Cam's first haircut! We got rid of the baby mullet!

We celebrated Cam's 1st birthday a few days early since we were going to be at Landon's conference on the 16th.  He liked the cupcake but didn't enjoy the frosting.  Camden is such a wonderful and sweet boy. We couldn't be happier to have him in our family!
