I took the boys to the Dairy Queen on Broadway. We met the owner and learned that this location was the 11th in the world and the 1st in Minnesota. After treats, we scootered around area.
We had (too much) pea rock delivered to fill up the playground. Poor Samantha Frei- she handled the brunt of it and hauled it for hours.
The kids loved playing in it.
I took the boys strawberry picking and Ty found this weird one.
We went to Mom and Dad's house for 4th of July weekend. We stopped by Rob's grave. I continue to love Rob's headstone, especially so that the boys (that don't remember him) can see what he looked like.
We had an awesome fireworks display put on by Uncle Kev. Of course the boys were thrilled!
I brought a kiddie pool, water squirters and water balloons. It was pretty chilly, though.
The assembled crowd.
Bobby is working at Culvers now. He's getting so old!
Found slugs on my cherry tree. Disappointing, but the remedy has been pretty easy with spreading some pellets around the base of the tree.
Having a snack at the RAC. We probably went a half a dozen times through the summer.
Brit and Ty both took swimming lessons. Brit could already swim but learned some strokes. Ty is 95% swimming on his own.
Velcro diaper!
Digging holes for the deck.
Cam's first trip to Target! Kind of weird to think that he's this old before he got there. We usually go to Walmart. And I usually go without kids.
