April 3, 2022

Soccer season has begun! The Ty and Cam's first games started this week!

On Friday, the whole family came to watch.  Even Nanny and Poppa came!

Carson's 'can-do' attitude with being 'your helper'.

Spring is in the air! I love seeing the buds, tulips, and daffodils.  My lilac bushes are starting to leaf out and I'm hoping they'll flower this year.

We love our deck, but from time to time, a bird will fly into the glass and die :(  The kids were so sad about this robin.  We said it was ok to touch it if they washed their hands afterwards, but it got a little out of hand...

Carson's a professional staller at bedtime.  He'll need 'one quick thing'.  I'll tell him to be fast, and then he'll come up with an apple and an orange.  He has lots of those at naptime and bedtime.

I got to go biking with Dad on the Sport Park trail.  Beautiful weather and scenery.

My friend, Melissa Smith, invited me to the women's session of General Conference.  I went with her, her sister, and her mom.  The conference center was only about half way full.  They got tickets from Melissa's uncle, who is stake president in another state.  We ate at Olive Garden on the way home.

Dad drove to Utah from Minnesota and brought out lots of furniture, etc.  They dropped off some books and musical instruments for us.  The kids were in heaven.

Cam's latest Star Wars creation.

The kids were invited to their cousin's,  Westlund Flores,  6th birthday party at Classic Skate.  Such a fun place!

We went to lunch at Mom and Dad's.  They're having some construction work done in their backyard to add a pergola and a swim spa.  The kids were eating popsicles while watching the workmen.

Cam was putting Carson to sleep to earn money.  Notive Leppy on Carson's tummy.

A nice spring day for the library playground.

A random Carson picture - doing school with Lexi.

I brought Brit to see his friend, Tyler Dimmick, in the play Narnia.  It was a fun play!

More Lexi playing with Carson.  Here, she's reading him a story and putting him down for a nap.

Caron's been working on potty training.

Cam was sick for like a week and barely ate much.  There was a lot of couch lying.

Carson started gymnastics and loves it! He and Lexi's classes are at the same time near the sports park at a place called Tumble Trix.

Soccer has begun again.  I took Lexi and Carson to the All Abilities Park while we were waiting for Ty's practice.

After some good potty training practice, Carson earned a firetruck!

March 13, 2013

Lexi has been playing more and more with Carson.  Sometimes they have 'baby school' or 'kitty school'.  Carson is the baby or kitty.  They have an activity and a snack. Sometimes a book or game :-)

More lego creations by Cam.

We met friends and tried a new place: Kangaroo Zoo in Pleasant Grove.

Ty performed in his spring festival competition for piano.  It's a competition against yourself  You memorize and perform 2 pieces for 3 judges.  He got the highest rating!

The boys had such a fun time at Coin Crazy for Lexi's birthday that they went again and spent their own money.  We brought our neighbor, Ryder Richins, along.  They loved a Minecraft game (it spit out Minecraft cards) and then got obsessed with this game at the end.

We had a quick visit to Ikea.  The kids were inspired with all the model rooms and kitchens.  This was Brit's idea of how he'd like his kitchen.

And here is Carson playing make believe in a bedroom :)

A sweet neighbor of ours, Sandi Deakins, was sick on Lexi's birthday. So a week later, she brought over a dozen donuts for Lexi!
