Whew! It seems like life doesn't slow down.... so this post is going to span almost a month. But at least it'll be accounted for. In February, Mom went to the doctor, and as she kind of expected, got results back that indicates she has Parkinson's disease :-( She had noticed some hand trembling and other symptoms and was familiar with it, since Nanny Ocel had it and Renee has it. It, of course, was discouraging news. That weekend, we headed to St. Michael to pay her a visit. I should have gotten a group shot or something, but I only ended up with some pics of the boys playing in the pole barn. Mom ended up keeping the older two boys for a few nights and then drove them back to Rochester and visited for a couple nights.
We have had TONS of snow! This would have been a great year for a working snowblower - Ha ha! But we've been getting strong, instead. See Ty helping Landon?
I picked up some 'mailboxes' from Target. The boys loved writing letters to each other. Even Mom and Dad got some nice notes! Later, Britton really got into writing. He wanted to write the titles on our photo books. I loved the picture below of Brit writing, Ty relaxing on his blanket (giving up his naps these days) and Camden just playing.
We went with Nanny and the Bradys to the Minnesota Orchestra Young People's Concert. I think I would have made it through if I just had taken Britton.... maybe something to keep in mind for next time :-) After that, we went to the Mill Museum. I have never been before and loved it! They have the quaintest restaurant nearby and the museum was dead. The kids loved the water play area. The tour with the elevator presentation was unique and the view was great! I want to go back.
They had bread samples and Ty said it was "like sacrament!". The kids played with play dough and Minnesota cookie cutters.
Landon installed these spice shelves from ikea for our book shelves. I love how they ended up! Britton wants to paint them blue. I guess I should give up some control since I wanted to paint them white. Lol.
I especially LOVE this time - when a baby just has a couple of teeth. Cute cute Camden!
Part of Britton's homework included a sentence he wrote about a dog chasing a cat. He was supposed to draw a picture about it. Since he had to turn this in, I took a picture. He copied the way I showed him how to draw a cat/ dog and he did great for a first time. I especially love the cat's long, curly tail. Gibb's Elementary held a carnival at the end of Feburary. I took just Britton. He loved playing games, racking up tickets, going into the bounce houses, playing hockey, 'fishing' in a doorway, etc. He brought home some prizes and gave most of them to Tyler. Ty gets so excited about Brit giving him things!
Our tradition waiting for the bus includes throwing snowballs at each other or, at least, playing toss with snow chunks. And on my way back inside, I noticed the snow matches our house! That's a lot of snow, and it had already melted quite a bit. Our poor mailbox. Plow: 1 Mailbox :0
I loved seeing how Ty played this game with the magnifying glass right on his eye! You're supposed to place a magnifying glass on the board when you spot the item you're looking for.
And cute little Cam - always in good spirits!
3D showing of the Lego Movie. Landon took the boys and met up with the Tom, Danny, and Jake Brinton. Another day, Landon took the boys to Home Depot for their free kids' workshop. They painted and built racecars. They got ice cream at the mall afterwards.

.
Three little cuddle boys.
Landon and I have been trading off months to attend the temple. I went last week. It was so nice to go! I hadn't been since before Camden was born.
Bri got engaged to Sarah! We are SO excited!! Honestly, we are so happy and this is an answer to years and years of praying for him! We are ecstatic! :-) And Justin returned from his mission. He was sick and really exhausted, and once again, I should have gotten a picture with him, but we ended up with just a cousin picture instead.
Funny things: A few days ago, Tyler discovered that he liked hummus. He was standing on a chair next to me at the counter. He started rubbing his hand on my shoulder. I thought that was funny, since he doesn't usually do that. Then he said, "But weedy {sweetie}, thanks for buying it." He told me, he just really loved it and continued to dip pretzels and eat them.
Another time I was reading scriptures. I read a verse about God and explained how he was a person who looked like us. I think the scripture was referencing something about His head and feet. I told him that some people don't know that. He said, "Looks like a person to me."
