On Sunday, the weather was so bad that they just held an optional sacrament meeting. The whole state had cancelled school for Monday (and added Tuesday as it got closer). It was -23, but with wind chill it felt like -55!!! In that temperature, exposed skin can get frostbite in 5 minutes. That was a record setting temperature of something like 20 years?
Since Landon had work, our stuff hadn't been delivered yet, and Bradys were home with no school, I headed to Saint Michael with Camden. On Sunday, we had dinner at the pole barn. Most of the Bradys hadn't met Camden yet, so that was fun to be there. They had just gotten home from California for Christmas and New Years.
On Monday, the Bradys came over to Mom and Dads. We ate tacos and played the game Moods. Camden got to try out the doorway jumper for the first time. He didn't bounce, but he liked being in an upright position. Monday afternoon, I went over to Kev and Jana's house with Natalie. I hadn't been inside yet, since they moved in right as we were leaving for fellowship. Their house is so nicely decorated and I love the tall windows! And Cullen is so cute. He looks like a perfect mix of Kev and Jana.
It's always fun to document the office. That place is always changing!
The girls stayed over at Nanny and Poppa's one night. Here is Marin reading them a bedtime story.
On Tuesday, I went to the Albertville Outlet mall with Melissa and got some snow pants for Britton. For lunch, we picked up pizza at Little Caesar's. Then we headed back to Rochester. It was a fun visit! Glad I came :-)
