Our garden is going crazy!
Initially, the kittens hissed a lot at each other when they were introduced. The breeder said to keep them together and they'll figure it out. It took about 2 days and then they were good. They don't hiss anymore. It's really funny to watch them tackle each other and play with each other. I was worried that it'd take forever for them to get along.... in fact, for the first few days, we kept them separated. But it was such a hassle, that that's why I reached out to the breeder. I'm so glad! It wasn't fun having two kittens in different rooms and fighting!
We started to do kid dates. Each week, Landon and I take turns going one-on-one with one of the kids. A few weeks ago, I went with Brit to Pizza Pie Cafe and Jay's Jungle (pet store). The next week, Dad played Starcraft with Ty and took him out to lunch. This week, Cam wanted to go to Subway and then watch Jurassic World in the car (like how I do date night with Landon during the week: lunch out and a show in the car, parked at the sports park). I'm updating this after some time has passed, so I'll just mention here that Lexi went with Landon to the Dollar Tree, Stokes grocery store, and Tropical Sno for shaved ice. This week, it'll be my birthday on Saturday, but Carson has seen the Farmer's Market and wanted to go, so I'll probably take him there.
I couldn't tell is Lucky was interested in the flames or her reflection. Either way, it was fun to watch.
Ty changed out his loft bed for a regular bed. And we got this shelf for his 3 snakes.
