- Day 1 - Traveling, Feb 11
- woke up at 5:20 am - Saturday, Feb 11
- Sabrina Racca babysitting
- Fell down the stairs again (last time was over a year ago) because Waffles ran down and knocked into the back of me as I was carrying a suitcase or two down. Those stairs are dangerous for me! Not sure if I’ll feel that later.
- Gave the kids gifts (the fishing game was a hit. Lexi and Carson could barely say goodbye to us
- Tried out new Lot E at the airport. It’s nice and close and not too expensive
- Security was a breeze
- Panera breakfast
- Flight got delayed twice. We ended up changing to connecting flights. Now there’s a huge line (to make new flight arrangements) so it probably was cancelled
- We’re off to Denver and then to NYC
- Never taken 3 flights in 1 day!
- I wanted to walk. It took 8 mins to walk down and back terminal A
- Only a few minutes between flights to grab McDonald’s
- Twice they didn’t give us a plain cheeseburger. The second time was no meat no cheese and all the toppings! Lol
- Didn’t make connecting flight to Belgium because we taxi-d too long and we’re in the back of the plane. Seemed to miss it by ten minutes.
- Spending 24 hours in NYC without our luggage
- Nice attendant gave us one free hotel room at Crowne Plaza. We bought another room.
- Little Caesar’s made us happy. On time delivery when everything else was running late and complicated.
Day 2 - NYC Sunday, Feb 12
- Breakfast
- Uber to Natural History Museum
- Gemstones! Dinosaur! Ocean Life! Taxidermy animals. One hour visit. Very cool
- Alladin play. Loud French people in wrong seats behind us. Talking almost the whole time. Disappointing. But singing and performance were great!
- Took Uber to JFK (driver from Uzbekistan)
- Flight to Belgium

Delicious Bakery
Saw the Alladin play.
Let's try this again! We're off to Belgium!
