Starting again…

It's been 3 years since I've updated this blog.  We recently planned a trip to NYC and I really enjoyed rereading the blog posts of our time there.  This is an easy way to upload some pictures and write a few family journal entries, so I'd like to start again.

Cam's been enjoying having primary activities.  His teachers dropped off a craft to make this pony bead lizard.

We hiked Grotto Falls for the first time this week.  Afterwards, we stopped at Tropical Sno in Salem.  Most of the kids got "Shark Attack"  - blue raspberry with a streak of red (blood) and gummy sharks.
Carson has actually calmed down a little bit with his shenanigans.  But he still comes back to getting eggs and cracking them when I'm not around.  He's done this half a dozen times.
Our water was turned off for two days due to the construction of the nearby roundabout.  Brit had the clever idea to melt the ice cubes for macaroni and cheese.
Grotto Falls
Lexi went across the monkey bars for the first time!
Carson will sometimes get a few minutes of screen time before a nap.  But here, he fell asleep early on my bed.  So cute.
We hosted a "Movie Night" with the neighbors. We had nine come.  We watched Lego Movie 2 and had too much candy :-) The kids looked forward to it all week.
More Grotto Falls.  Not sure why it's so out of order.  Oh well, I'm going for a passing grade with this blog.  "Good enough" is better than not done!
Tropical Sno.  Brit likes to get a custom flavor.
A park in Provo - waiting for Ty at his piano lesson.

There were some big beetles at a park in Orem.  Brit had met up with another tennis player who gets coached by "Coach Nate".  They had a good practice/ game. Afterwards, the kids found two big beetles, battling it out.
